Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the grant, your organization must meet the following criteria:
- Non-Profit Status: Must be a registered 501(c)(3) or recognized non-profit organization.
- Service to the Spanish-Speaking Community: Your organization should directly serve or intend to serve the Spanish-speaking population in Solano County or beyond.
- Commitment to Community Engagement: You must demonstrate a commitment to expanding outreach, providing resources, or offering services that positively impact the Spanish-speaking community.
- Mission Alignment: Your organization’s mission and activities should align with Solano Hispano's goal of empowering the Spanish-speaking community through resources, inspiration, and guidance.
- Geographic Focus: Non-profits headquartered outside Solano County may apply only if they serve Solano County residents.
- Proof of Active Programs: Applicants must provide evidence of active programs or services that benefit the community.
How to Apply

- Proof of non-profit status (e.g., IRS determination letter or equivalent).
- A brief description of your organization, including your mission, key programs, and how they benefit the Spanish-speaking community.

Terms and Conditions
By applying for this grant, your organization agrees to the following terms and conditions:
- Grant Usage: The grant covers the first-year membership fee for Solano Hispano and cannot be used for any other purpose. The grant has no cash value and is non-transferable.
- Membership Benefits: As a member of Solano Hispano, your organization will have access to all non-profit membership features, including the ability to post events, resources, and updates relevant to the Spanish-speaking community.
- Annual Review: After the first year, non-profit members must submit a brief impact report on how they have utilized the platform to engage with the community. This report will help evaluate the program’s success and determine eligibility for potential renewals or additional opportunities.
- Compliance: Organizations must adhere to Solano Hispano’s membership rules, including providing accurate information and not engaging in any activities that could harm the reputation of the platform or community.
- Non-Profit Status Maintenance: If your organization loses its non-profit status during the membership period, you must notify Citlalli Brands immediately, and your membership will be subject to review.
- Grant Availability: Grants are awarded on a rolling basis until the $50,000 fund is fully allocated. Not all applicants will receive the grant, and Solano Hispano reserves the right to make final decisions based on the criteria outlined.
- Promotion: By accepting the grant, your organization agrees to be featured in Solano Hispano communications, including but not limited to press releases, social media, and website promotions.

- Application Opens: September 15th, 2024
- Application Deadline: Rolling, until the fund is exhausted.
- Grant Decisions: Applications will be reviewed within 30 days of submission, and selected organizations will be notified by email.
